Who doesn’t love a good accent (wall)?! They’re exotic. They’re intriguing. They’re something everyone wants. Today we have a round-up of our 10 favorite accent walls ideas from around the world (wide web). From classic to modern, we’ve got you covered. Let’s start with our most classic options.

1. Board and Batten

Like I said, starting with the classics. And the reason they’re classics? Because they have, and will always be, beautiful.

2. Full Wall Wainscoting

If you’re looking to add some elegance, this is your look. Full wall wainscoting screams classy and sophistication.

Check out our tutorial on how to install picture frame moulding. It’s a beginner-friendly DIY that just requires a few tools. In fact, you don’t even need a saw. You can use these miter sheers instead!

3. Brick

4. Shiplap

6. Ombre

Can’t decide on a paint color? An ombre wall adds a softness to your room that a single paint color can’t get you. You can also create a pattern (like mountains) to incorporate the ombre look. We have a full tutorial here

8. Geometric Wood and Bold Colors

Bold colors and wood. A combination you can’t beat. Rather than paint, stain your accent wall for a completely different look.     Would you mind telling me the paint color on the wall in picture number 8 (geometrical wall)? I love it!!!!!

      Hi Misty! It’s Behr Tsunami, but I will say that it DRASTICALLY changes colors depending on the light. I recently repainted it to a similar color (Sherwin Williams Moscow Midnight) because it drove me crazy how different it looked during different times of the day.
