Our Story

I've always had champagne taste on a beer budget.. and the inability to settle for anything less than what I really want.

When we moved into our first home, instead of outfitting it with furniture we could actually afford, but wasn't the look or quality I was going for, we decided to try this thing called DIY.

We found a plan to follow, but when we got to the store to pick out wood, we had no idea which type to buy. We tried Googling it and the more we kept searching, the more confused we got.

We made a lot of mistakes and those first few projects were an experiment in frustration and overwhelm.

After countless projects, and a few magazine features, we're sharing everything we've learned and wished we knew starting out so that you can learn to DIY faster and with less frustration.
